All properties must be registered by law
It is a legal requirement that any Homestay accommodation on the Isle of Man must be registered with the Isle of Man Department for Enterprise. Homestay IOM Ltd is the official operator of the Homestay scheme on behalf of the Government.
This process ensures all legal, health and safety and accommodation quality standards have been adhered to. This is to ensure the safety and well being of visitors during their time in your accommodation.

How it works:
- Read the information pack in full. Contact us if you have any questions.
- Register your property by completing the online form.
- Our team will check the details provided by you and issue you with an invoice.
- On receipt of payment, our team will contact you to arrange an appointment for an inspection.
Please note that if your property fails inspection the fee is non-refundable so do read the comprehensive information provided before making payment.
