Advertising on our website
Each and every registered Homestay will appear on our website as a basic listing, to enable visitors to check the details are correct.
In addition, the main function of the website is to advertise Homestays and help Hosts achieve bookings.
Currently your registration fee entitles you to an advertisement on the website, where you can provide a description of your property, any specific house rules and upload photographs. On completion of the registration process we will provide you with a username and password, together with a guide to the Host area of the site. This allows you to upload the property details, pricing and open any dates on the live interactive calendar. By doing this, visitors to the site can see the actual dates that your property is available to book, and then your contact details in order to make an enquiry. It is therefore important to log in and block the dates off should you obtain a booking.
For permanent tourist accommodation should as hotels, b&bs and self-catering, we are also pleased to be able to offer you the ability to feature on our site and advertise any availability in the same way as Homestay's for just a fee of £60 per year.
Photography
When uploading images to the site it is important that they meet our high quality standards. Having decent imagery will enable you to show off your property and make it stand out to potential visitors.
• Try and use natural lighting as much as possible and try and choose a good weather day.
• Take photos from multiple angles and select the best ones.
• Pay attention to the detail, everything should be in its place, clean and staged tastefully.
• Make the beds and remove any clutter.
• Keep angles level.
We are also pleased to offer a professional photography service if desired which will really give your property that lift. For a fee of £60 incl VAT our photographer will conduct a professional shoot at your property and provide you with 8 high quality professional images which are yours to own and use how you wish, by sharing them with us on our website, you also share permission for us to use them.
If required an additional 4 drone images can be provided for an additional £30 incl VAT, subject to location and flying restrictions.
