Description
Ideal location for the TT. Located near The Woodbourne pub and the Woodburn Square, my home is within a five-minute walk from the TT race track, and a 10-minute walk from all the shops, restaurants, and other amenities of downtown Douglas. I rent out a guest bedroom in a two-bedroom flat, on the building's first--or second (US)--floor. The bedroom is appointed with a UK double (a tad smaller than a US Queen-size) bed, a chair, fitted shelves, a coat/cloth rack, a nightstand with standard USB charging facility, and a lamp. Maximum two guests are allowed. No lock is available for the guest room. Contemporary bathroom (shower) is SHARED with the host.Parking is possible in a shared communal parking lot belonging on the building. Otherwise, street parking is available. This property is best for solo or couple traveler(s) who enjoy walking around Douglas.
The guest will also have access to the living room and kitchen. Microwave, coffee and tea making facilities are available. Continental breakfast is provided. Guest(s) will receive a copy of the building and flat key.
It is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, but with easy access to the TT race track, two convenience stores (Co-Op and SPAR), one petrol--gas (US)--station, two pharmacies, and three grocery stores. Downtown Douglas is only a ten-minute walk away. Douglas Tesco store is within walking distance. Many other TT camp grounds are also within walking distance.
