Description
Self contained flat up a staircase over a double garage.small kitchen/ diner/ seating area.
bedroom with a 5 ft bed bedroom furniture velux window.
small shower ( electric) and wc in a separate room.
there is a washing machine in the garage for guests to use
space for a couple of bikes ( secure)
the kitchenette had a fridge, microwave, induction plate /coffee machine/ kettle and utensils.
We are situated about one and a half miles outside Ramsey in the North if the island in a very pretty area of Maughold. To get here is along the coast road A2 - go over the tram tracks and up the hill. The first junction to your left is signposted Maughold, turn into there. Continue down the hill until you see a red telephone box on your right, turn into Jacks lane ( well signposted) and we are the house ( pale green)with the cattle grid on the right. We are near the sea , a cove called Port e Vullen.
You can walk into Ramsey, it is hilly and takes about 45 mins. During TT there is quite a regular tram service, we are half way between two stops ,so easy to walk to ( though both up hill)
The area is full of wildlife and very quiet, even in TT week.
