Description

Double room ideal for a couple in our non smoking family home (two children, 4 and 7) located in Douglas located about half way between the Sea Terminal and Quarterbridge.

Our home is outside the course so no issues with access during racing.

There is a garage for motorbikes or bicycles but unfortunately no car parking. We’re on the main bus route to/from the airport and sea terminal - and to most of the rest of the island including the TT course.

WiFi and washing machine available and we have a garden that you’re very welcome to use. Bath and shower in shared bathroom.

We’ll serve a continental breakfast each morning and you’re welcome to help yourself to tea and coffee at any time of the day.

We are former homestay visitors ourselves who are now lucky enough to live on the island, so we are looking forward to sharing that experience and welcoming guests of our own!

Location Info

The Quarterbridge is around a 10 minute walk away, a little further for Bray Hill, the Grandstand/paddock area etc

We are on Peel Road on most of the main bus routes to/from the Airport, Douglas Prom, Onchan, Peel, Castletown, Port St Mary and Port Erin.

Steam railway station a few minutes walk away for a scenic train journey to the South of the island (and the pre TT classic racing on the Billown course)

North Quay, Douglas town centre, Bushy's festival etc are all easily walkable.

Booking

We'll ask for a 20% deposit on booking. The balance can be in cash or a bank transfer after you've arrived.
